Parish Associations

The heart of our parish community, serving God through service to others

Sacred Heart Church, Hosur is home to three active parish associations: each dedicated to a unique mission of faith, service and community. Together, they form the living heart of our parish life.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Sacred Heart Church, Hosur

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Hosur was established on February 18, 2007. In 2008, it was affiliated with the International Society through the Superior Council and received full recognition. Since February 21, 2011, it has maintained a twinning relationship with the Sacred Heart Society in England.

The Society consists of 16 members. A weekly meeting is held at the church office every Sunday after the second Holy Mass.

Addressing the needs of the poor and underprivileged, in matters of food, clothing, education, healthcare, employment and general well-being, the Society works tirelessly with the support of kind-hearted donors, the guidance of elders, and the counsel of Rev. Fr. M. George.
