Talking with God
Why we pray
Prayer is the raising of our hearts and minds to God. The prayers on this page have been handed down by the Church for centuries: we pray them together at Mass, teach them to our children in catechism, and say them at home in the morning, at meals and before we sleep. As a parish dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we begin with prayers to His Sacred Heart. Choose a prayer below to read and pray it.
